Authors are invited to submit full draft (6 pages, 2-column, IFAC style) papers. The submitted material must be original, unpublished and must not be
under consideration for publication elsewhere. Where a full set of experiments or
computational results is not available, the draft papers must be sufficiently
detailed to permit a full evaluation of the contribution.
All the papers will undergo the same review process. Accepted papers will be assigned to lecture or poster sessions according to the kind of presentation that suits the nature of work, no value ranking is implied. Authors will also be asked to indicate their preference. Poster and lecture papers will be allowed the same number of pages in the Conference Proceedings and the same level of quality is expected. ICONS 2003 also encourages the submission of special sessions with sets of 4 to 5 papers on well-defined subjects of current interest under the Conference scope. In addition to the full draft papers of the session, a proposal for a special session should also contain a 1-2 page summary, containing the aims and scope of the session. A special session will be accepted only if the session itself and its papers are accepted. Accepted papers from a non-accepted special session will be included in regular sessions. Electronic submission is now open!If you have already pre-registered with either the ICONS 2003 or the EMO 2003 website, please follow the Work Area link on the left and click on the Paper Submission link from there. If you have not yet pre-registered, please do so now by selecting the Pre-registration link in the left menu. |
